Saiko Exciting
A press release from Sci-Fi UK talks about a new two hour show which features computer games, cutting edge animation, japenese music videos and competitions all in a new show called Saiko-Exciting.

Saiko-Exciting will be presented by Sci-Fi's Seera (the girl who appears in the Anime on Sci-Fi promotions), Jonathan Clements (the arrogant editor and murderer of Manga Max) and Emily Netwon-Dunn (who used to appear on Bits on 4LATER strand on Channel Four).

During the show you can see two anime acclaimed series: Neon Genesis Evangelion and also Martian Successor Nadesico which have been requested anime series from Sci-Fi fans. The show also boasts that it will have interactivity and also the audience taking part.

If Clements does the anime news I'm thinking he's probably gong to do American news, if he is then it will be pointless as we (in the UK) will not be able to get the releases without importing them ourselves first with an extra cost added to it.

I also personally no longer see Jonathan Clements active in the UK anime industry and should have someone who is currently active in the UK anime industry presenting the news section. Someone in the industry who would like the chance to appear on television.

Adding Neon Genesis Evangelion and Martian Successor Nadesico during the program may be not successful if they show the first part of an episode of Neon Genesis Evangelion and then they show the second part of the episode 15 minutes later after they finished showing the first part of the episode and to some viewers (including me) can find that to be really annoying.

In my opinion I don't really think that the show will go far and may be stopped within a couple of months.
