Saiko-Exciting (After show)
Well one show of Saiko-Exciting later and what do I think of the show?

The show was introduced by Serra (local Sci-Fi resident) with another DOG change, explaining what is happening on Saiko-Exciting today (sort of like an on-screen continuity person).

Five minutes later into the show Emily Newton Dunn (used to present Channel 4's Bits on the 4LATER strand) talking about what was coming up in SFG (which when I heard the Charts Music, I though it was a replacement to Cybernet which sometimes used to air around 3:30am after the second anime film had finished). But where's the audience participation? I don't see any audience!

Now they had given viewers the second chance to see Neon Genesis Evangelion and Martian Successor Nadesico in the day time seeing as it was after midnight Thursday they usually show animé (where Headf**k used to be, although I'm wondering where all the swearing is currently but I guess Sci-Fi themseleves will have to edit scenes out to make sure it's suitable for daytime viewing).

Jonathan Clements (editor and murder of Manga Max) was presenting Saiko News, yes only two items of interest (sadly), the first part of news mention about ADV films releasing Gunsmith Cats and the second part of Saiko News was about something which (really) isn't related to japanese animation, a Hong Kong Film! (Are they sure that Hong Kong is now in Japan?). I also didn't see the mentioning of any Japanese news which is important if anime in the uk is going to survive.

Overall, even though I watched all of the show (in order to give a fair opinion), I don't have much of a liking for it and it would be better really just to record Eva and Nadesico overnight.
