Kirinji's Pad - (Artwork - Hollie's Hair 2 (coloured))

Notes: This is really another "training picture" which this time demonstrates my shadowing and shading techniques. As you can tell (but since this is the light on white paper), the light is coming from the top-left corner.

To do the light on the hair, what I did was use the white colour with a opacity of somewhere between 10% and 15% with the Build up brush checked (I've been colouring this in Paint Shop Pro 7). As with the t-shirt light, I used a lighter green colour and again used between 10% and 15% opacity with the build up brush option checked and went over that area at least three or four times.
